Named in award of a transit from Pauline Reage's notorious novel The Story of O, the melancholy Trembling Blue Stars heralded the take back of singer/songwriter Robert Wratten, best known as the frontman of the British indie bulge out band the Field Mice. Douglas Holtz-Eakin, McCain's senior economic adviser, said that the candidate's plan to provide tax credits to help people buy health insurance would result in about 20 million to 30 zillion more insured person people. �UroToday.com - In the age of minimally invasive surgery, laparoscopic and robotic assisted laparoscopic prostatectomy has been associated with a substantial step-up in operative costs without a significant improvement in outcomes to date. As a result, there has been renewed interest in one of the original approaches to prostate malignant neoplastic disease. In this presentation we compare the MUSC feel with perineal prostatectomy (RPP) to published results victimization laparoscopic and robot-assisted laparoscopic prostatectomy (LRP, RALP).

Our experience with over ccc consecutive perineal prostatectomies is presented and operative proficiency reviewed in detail. Issues such as hospital stay, intra-operative blood loss, duration of catheterization, complications, both long and short term, and outcomes will be reviewed. Selective indications for a perineal prostatectomy will be defined and discussed.

Rivers removed from TV show over curses

Comedienne Joan Rivers was yesterday removed from the ITV show 'Loose Women' after she used bad language live on air.
The 75-year-old star used expletives when referring to actor Russell Crowe.
She later said that she thought that the curses would be bleeped out of the show.
Referring to one of the words that she used, Rivers said: "People have heard it in 'Sex And The City', it's such a common word."
"I said: 'I apologise'. Everyone apologised. It was hilariously funny," she said.
"I would be delighted to go back if they would apologise and give me a gift," she joked.
An ITV spokeswoman said: "We would like to apologise to 'Loose Women' viewers for the inappropriate language used by Joan Rivers on today's show."
"Presenter Jackie Brambles immediately apologised to viewers and reiterated this apology later in the show."
"An editorial decision was taken that Joan Rivers should not appear in the final part of the programme."
"Loose Women guests are always briefed that it is a live daytime show and as such are reminded not to swear or use inappropriate language."

Paul Weller launches book with designer Paul Smith

Paul Weller met up with British designer Paul Smith in theFloral Street branch of the designer's shop in London to launch his new book, 'A Thousand Things'.

Smith hosted the launch party yesterday (June 2) for the former Jam frontman, with both men signing an Epiphone Casino guitar which will be auctioned off to raise money for charity some time in the future.

'A Thousand Things' features rare photographs of Weller including those from his family archive. Weller has signed all 2,000 copies of the book that have been produced.

Queen Latifah sues over cameo film role

Actress and singer Queen Latifah is sueing a small film production company that helped finance the movie The Perfect Holiday, saying she had not been paid any money for the film.

Lawyers for Queen Latifah - an Academy Award-nominated actress and Grammy Award-winning singer whose real name is Dana Owens - said in a lawsuit filed in Manhattan federal court the California-based company, Perfect Christmas Productions, had breached her contract and owed her $US275,000 for a cameo role in the film.

The Perfect Holiday, which was also produced by Owens, 38, was released in December 2007, starring Terrence Howard and Gabrielle Union.

It grossed more than $US5.8 million by February, 2008 in the United States, according to Box Office Mojo.

The lawsuit said Perfect Christmas Productions was believed to have been paid several million dollars by third parties for The Perfect Holiday, which was originally known as Perfect Christmas.

Actor Ryan Phillippe has spoken about his divorce from actress Reese Witherspoon, denying allegations that he cheated on her.
The 33-year-old star told W magazine that the end of his seven-year marriage left him in "the darkest, saddest place" that he had ever been in.

Keira Knightley, Sienna Miller and Matthew Rhys star in The Edge of Love, a film concerned with the women in Dylan Thomas's life.

Most people have heard of Dylan Thomas, but if you haven't, it doesn't really matter. Get ready to focus on free-spirited women instead, particularly Vera Phillips (Knightley) and Caitlin, (Miller) who, despite both realising that Dylan may well be in love with both of them, spark up a strong friendship with each other.

It's 1941, London is getting bombed frequently and cabaret has gone underground - literally. I will offer the benefit of the doubt to director John Maybury and concede that, although a lighting rig or double bass would not be the first thing I might grab in an air raid, it is possible that they could have been set up on the tube platforms permanently. Anyway, I digress. Vera is attracting attention from plenty of soldiers and sailors alike, due to her smashing pipes (Keira's own voice) and pleasant looks (dubbed).

One man in particular, William Killick, (Cillian Murphy of Batman Begins fame) is a captain with the British army and is besotted with Vera. Dylan Thomas (Rhys) happens to be her childhood love, and a chance encounter at a pub throws them back together once more.

Far from the proverbial bucket of water, Dylan's wife Caitlin simply fans those flames and a semi-mutual love triangle ensues, except three is not the magic number in this case, and three with a staunch husband drier than a biscuit looking on isn't going to end well at all. Killick goes off to war, leaving Dylan (who faked an injury to get off from military service) to have his cake and spend a lot of time eyeing up Killick's own slice too, while poor Killick goes through hell to save Queen and country.

As long as you don't mind Dylan Thomas and his poetry taking a bit of a back seat, you will happily drift through a slick, well shot, competently-acted British film, though it does feel a little 'TV.' The film is well-researched and although Dylan Thomas has many a yarn attached to him, this seems a coherent section of his life.
Perhaps in this sequel-laced climate we can expect Dylan: The American Years, which I think I would prefer - he didn't care what anyone thought by then, and was quite the rogue, so the stories go...I'm sure Matthew Rhys would enjoy revisiting the charismatic role and slurring "Washington isn't a city; it's an abstraction" after his eighteenth whiskey.

It is also quite nice to see Sienna Miller actually do something, since I had no idea she was an actress - she seemed to be one of the photographed elite who appear in London Lite every other day doing newsworthy things like getting out of cabs, or leaving places. I'm happy to report she is also a feisty talented actress who hopefully has a bright future.
The Edge Of Love hits cinemas June 20.
